Thank you for your interest in NICE and in this important role. Through this website you will be able to access further details about the Institute, as well as information about the role of Director for Science, Evidence and Analytics, and the arrangements for the recruitment process.
As an organisation that exists to help improve the quality, sustainability and productivity of health and social care in England, we have an important remit and we have clear objectives. We have a world-renowned reputation for delivering guidance and information which is evidence based and which stand up to public, industry and media scrutiny. However, with a growing focus on the use of datasets and analytics in support of our research and evidence base, we have identified the need for a cross-cutting senior management role to ensure that we use the best available evidence in the guidance we provide. This role offers the opportunity to lead the development of NICE’s use of real world data, building it into our routine assessment of evidence, and to continue developing our science, policy, research, and evidence service functions. This role will provide a significant contribution to the efficiency of NICE and to the transformation we are currently undergoing.
If, having read further details in this website, you believe your career aspirations and your experience fit what we are seeking, or if you want to find out more before deciding this, please call Robin Staveley or Lucy Deane of GatenbySanderson for a confidential conversation on 0113 205 6090. I and the other members of the senior management team also look forward to speaking to you during this recruitment process.
